Call the service

Once you have collected the input data, you need to call the Bank Wizard account checking service. The service you must call is determined by the action that you want to perform.

To check that the account details are in the correct format and that the account could exist, call the Validate service:

To check that the account details are in the correct format and that the account exists, is open and is associated with the supplied personal or company details, call the Verify service:

To check that an IBAN is in the correct format and could exist, and to decompose the IBAN into the BBAN, call the ValidateIBAN service:

If the details are for a United Kingdom account and you want to verify that the account exists, after validating the IBAN, you must pass the BBAN details to the Verify service.
