Client errors

The client errors are returned by Bank Wizard when you call any service and the input data is not correctly formatted.

Message	Incomplete address details. The delivery point must contain at least one of the following; house name, house number and flat.
Description	When verifying personal or company details, or performing a velocity check, you must supply: at least one of house name, house number or flat at least one of street or postcode.
Message	Incomplete address details. The postal address must contain at least one of the following; street, postcode.
Description	When verifying personal or company details, or performing a velocity check, you must supply: house name, house number or flat street or postcode.
Message	There is an unexpected error. Please contact Experian support.
Description	There is an error with the Bank Wizard service that is preventing your request from being processed. Contact Experian support who will resolve the error.
Message	You must provide a first name and a surname.
Description	To verify personal details, proprietor details, match a card holder, or perform a velocity check, you must supply both the first name and the surname.
Message	You must supply a BBAN.
Description	When validating or performing an IBAN lookup, you did not supply a value for one or more account details. The message is correctly formed, that is the request has a valid index but it does not contain a value.
Message	Your request cannot be processed. Make sure you have supplied the correct number of fields and that these fields are correctly formatted.
Description	Bank Wizard cannot process your request. Typically this is because you have not supplied all of the mandatory information or your request is not formatted correctly. Make sure the format of your message is correct and contains all of the mandatory information. Then try again. If this problem persists, contact Experian support.
Account checking
Message	{0} does not support {1} checking level.
Description	Where {0} is the 2 character country code and {1} is the checking level; Account, BIC, Branch or Domestic. You cannot perform the requested type of check for this country. Use GetCountryInput to determine which checking levels are supported by each country.
Message	Account information must contain a sort code and an account number. For some account types you must also supply a roll number.
Description	One or more of the sort code, account number and roll number fields have not been completed. You must supply all of the account details to Bank Wizard to perform verification.
Message	Country with ISO code {0} is not supported.
Description	Where {0} is the 2 character country code. Bank Wizard does not support the supplied country code. Use GetCountries to list the supported countries.
Message	For the account setup date, you must enter the year and can optionally enter the month and day. If you enter the day, you must specify the month.
Description	When verifying the account details, you have not supplied the correct details for the account setup date. You must supply: year only, or year and month, or year, month and day.
Message	Input string for {0} was not in a correct format. Invalid account setup date.
Description	Where {0} is one of day, month or year. When verifying account details, one or more of the account setup date fields contains either a non-numeric character or an invalid value. The day must be 1 to 31 inclusive, the month must be 1 to 12 inclusive and the year must be greater than 1800.
Message	The account setup date is in the future and cannot be verified.
Description	When verifying account details, the account setup date supplied is in the future. It must be in the past.
Message	The BBAN index argument cannot be zero or less.
Description	When validating account details, the supplied BBAN has an index which is less than or equal to zero.
Message	The BBANs supplied ({0}) are not correct for the {1} checking level. You must supply {2}.
Description	Where {0} is a colon separated list of the BBAN indices supplied, {1} is the description of the checking level, {2} is a comma separated list of the required BBANs indices. When performing a validation, you have not supplied the correct fields needed to perform the requested checking level. For example, you have supplied fields 1 and 4 when you should have supplied fields 1 and 2.
Message	The data access key has expired.
Description	When retrieving data, you supplied an expired data access key. The data access key is only valid for a finite amount of time. You must validate or verify the account details again to get a valid data access key. You can then use this key to retrieve the data.
Message	The data access key is invalid.
Description	When retrieving data, you supplied a data access key that was not in the correct format or was not issued by Bank Wizard. You must validate or verify the account details to get a valid data access key. You can then use this key to retrieve the data.
Message	The details supplied are not sufficient to retrieve this data. You must perform an account level check.
Description	When retrieving data, you supplied a data access key that only contained the branch details when the full account details are needed to retrieve this data (for example, account category). You must validate or verify the account details to get a valid data access key. You can then use that key to retrieve this data.
Message	You cannot perform GetFasterPaymentsData on country {0}.
Description	Where {0} is the name of the country. You have tried to retrieve Faster Payments data for a country other than the United Kingdom. To retrieve Faster Payments data, you must set the country code to GB.
Message	You must supply an IBAN.
Description	When validating an IBAN, you did not supply the IBAN. The message is correctly formed, that is the request has a valid index but it does not contain an IBAN.
Message	You must supply a two character ISO country code.
Description	For most requests to Bank Wizard, you must supply the 2 character country code to specify for which country you want to perform the request.
Search messages
Message	Page number is invalid. This must be a positive integer.
Description	When calling a search service, the page number is 0 or a negative number. It must be greater than 0.
Message	The entered search terms are not valid.
Description	The search terms supplied to the search services include invalid characters or a character in the wrong position. The characters you can include are: alphanumeric characters (A to Z, a to z and 0 to 9), % & = $ ; # in any position within the term ? - + * anywhere except at the start of the term \ anywhere except at the end of the term ! except at the start or end of the term.
Message	You must supply a search expression.
Description	When calling the search service, you have not supplied the search expression. You can supply between 1 and 3 terms, separated by spaces.
Message	You must supply the 2 character country code to specify the country you want to search.
Description	When calling the BranchSearch service you have not specified which country you want to search. You must supply the country code.
Card service messages
Message	Check address (is building number/name missing?)
Description	To match a card to a card holder, you must enter an address that includes a house number, or a flat number and either a house number or building name.
Message	Input string for IP address was not in the correct format.
Description	To run a velocity check against an IP address, the IP address must be formatted as ..., where * is a number between 1 and 300.
Message	You must supply a full, valid postcode
Description	To match a card to a card holder, you must enter an address that includes a full postcode that exists on the post code file, for example CV21 1DZ, not CV21.
Message	There has been a problem with the Velocity service.
Description	Bank Wizard Hosted cannot perform the velocity check. Please contact Experian support, quoting the error number returned.
Message	You must supply an Expiry date
Description	To perform any checks on cards, your request must include the expiry date in MM YYYY format.
Message	You must supply personal details.
Description	To perform a velocity check, your request must include the Personal element, which must include a first name and surname.
Message	You must supply the 3 character country code
Description	To perform a velocity check, your request must include the three character country code, typically GBR.
Message	{Field} cannot be more than {size} characters long
Description	The data supplied for {field} is too long. Edit the request to make sure the data in {field} is less than, or equal to, the allowed maximum {size}.
Message	Postcode covers multiple streets (re-submit request, specifying a street)
Description	The postcode supplied with the Card Holder Matching request, matches to multiple streets. To perform the card holder match, you must supply a street as part of the address.
