Maintaining the Database Table Files

The validation and institution data is stored within external Database Table Files (DTFs). You must regularly update the DTFs to make sure you are using the most accurate and up-to-date banking data, modulus rules and conditions. You use Data Manager to update the tables. Typically you get the updated tables weekly from the Online Update Service.

You can specify that Bank Wizard loads the updated DTFs without shutting down either Bank Wizard or your application. This is known as Dynamic Update.

Experian can introduce support for additional countries by creating DTFs for these countries. To include support for these countries in your application, update your licence key so that you can download the new tables, and then update your application as required. You do not need to install a new version of the Bank Wizard core.

For more information, see the Data Manager documentation.
